Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC) Scholarship Programme funds and implements its scholarship programmes as part of its overall effort in the development of human resources of its member countries and those of the Muslim communities in non-member countries. There are three scholarship programmes offered by IDB:
• Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries
• M.Sc Scholarship Programme in Science and Technology for IDB Least Developed Member Countries
• Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology

Islamic Development Bank Scholarship for Muslim Communities Kenya 2011-2012

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Kenya, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is currently available for Kenyan Muslim Students to study undergraduate courses under "the IDB " for 2011-2012 academic year. The IDB Scholarship Programme offers Scholarships to the selected candidates to pursue undergraduate study in the fields of Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture and related subjects. The Scholarship is an interest-free loan (Qard Hassan) to the students to be repaid after graduation in easy installments to IDB Education Trust-Kenya.

Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships (OCISS) at University of Oxford 2011/2012

The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarship (OCISS) was established to allow Muslim graduates to pursue postgraduate degree in study of benefit to the Muslim world. OCISS was established in 1985 to encourage the scholarly study of Islam and the Islamic world.

Duration: period of fee liability (usually the same length as the course) 2011/2012
Number of awards: Up to five awards will be available, at least 2 will be to UK students

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is offering PhD scholarships under "The IDB Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries-MSP/MC".

IDB Scholarships for Muslims Students in Africa and Asia

The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries was launched with the objective to provide educational opportunities for the academically meritorious and financially needy young Muslim students to pursue undergraduate or first-degree study in a university in any country and to train them in specific fields in order to improve their socio-economic conditions, preserve their cultural and religious identities and make a meaningful contribution to the development of their communities and countries. The Scholarship is tenable at recognized government or private universities in the students' own countries.
