How to Apply for SPDC Niger Delta Postgraduate Scholarship 2011

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited have collaborated with three Universities in UK to provide scholarships for students from the Niger Delta States in Nigeria, namely Rivers, Delta or Bayelsa; wishing to study a Master's programme in UK. To apply for this postgraduate scholarship for Nigerian Students, applicants need first apply for admission into one of the three universities and be offered an admission.

I'll strongly recommended that applications for admission into any of these universities are submitted as early as possible, and certainly no later than four weeks before the scholarship/funding application deadline, to ensure an offer of a place has been made when applying for funding. See how to apply to each school below.

Value, Benefit and Duration of Scholarship
The scholarship provides a maintenance stipend equal to the British Council Rate (c. £12,528 for 2010/11), full tuition fee funding, return airfares, arrival allowance and a thesis allowance (if required). Awards are tenable for one academic year and are only available for the taught postgraduate programmes.

University College London
Applicants must have a high standard of English, ie at least 6.5 in IELTS and meet the UCL's language requirements and be aged between 21-30 years.
