The HSMAI foundation awards merit scholarships to full-time students in the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Candidate category, and merit scholarships to part-time students pursuing Associate, Baccalaureate or Graduate Degrees in Hospitality Sales & Marketing or Revenue Management. HSMAI Foundation has been providing scholarships to students pursuing a career in hospitality sales and marketing since 1983. The scholarship funds will be forwarded to the colleges of the scholarship recipients to be applied directly to their tuition for the next semester. In addition, students may be asked to contribute to an HSMAI event or publication geared to students or to HSMAI public relations efforts.
Graduate students are also considered for the new HSMAI Foundation Mike Dimond Scholarship, which has been established to carry on the legacy of this hospitality sales and marketing giant who passed away in 2008.
The Mike Dimond HSMAI Foundation scholarship fund is created for the purpose of awarding scholarships annually to deserving students in hospitality programs who plan to pursue careers in sales and marketing.
