IRF Fellowship Grants for Graduate in Engineering & Transport Management program 2012
The International Road Federation (IRF) fellowship Program provides a one-time grant for graduate engineers and transportation managers toward the costs of university graduate study in fields related to the development of better and safer roads and road networks worldwide. Through the International Road Educational Foundation, the IRF awards grants to graduate engineers and other transportation professionals, from around the world in support of full-time academic training. Graduates of the Program comprise a highly skilled, efficient and productive body of experts which today exerts a strong influence on the orderly development of road transportation systems around the world.

HSMAI Foundation Scholarship Program USA 2011
The HSMAI foundation awards merit scholarships to full-time students in the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Candidate category, and merit scholarships to part-time students pursuing Associate, Baccalaureate or Graduate Degrees in Hospitality Sales & Marketing or Revenue Management. HSMAI Foundation has been providing scholarships to students pursuing a career in hospitality sales and marketing since 1983. The scholarship funds will be forwarded to the colleges of the scholarship recipients to be applied directly to their tuition for the next semester. In addition, students may be asked to contribute to an HSMAI event or publication geared to students or to HSMAI public relations efforts.

MSc in Accounting and Finance Scholarships - Karen Napier Scholarships
Scholarship WORTH
Each Scholarship will meet the course fees at the Home/EC rate and will offer £3,500 toward maintenance. In addition, the Accounting and Finance Division will waive the remainder of the course fees in the event that a Scholarship is awarded to an overseas fee paying applicant.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants may be of any nationality including Africa and must hold or expect to obtain an offer of a place on the full time MSc in Investment Analysis (Accounting and Finance Department) for entry in September 2010.
Applications may be submitted for the Scholarships along with the course application, but only those obtaining a place on the course will be entered into the Scholarship competition.
HOW to APPLY
Complete the Karen Napier Scholarship application form, (pdf document 24kb) ensuring that all sections are answered legibly.
Pay particular attention to the section which requires a handwritten statement of approximately 500 words on 'why a Scholarship would help you, and what your career or educational aims are for the five year period after you graduate from the Investment Analysis course'.
DEADLINE
The deadline for receipt of applications is 30 June 2010.
Please note that the Scholarships will be allocated in July and therefore if you are applying both for the Scholarships and the Investment Analysis course close to the 30 June deadline, you should ensure that your course application is complete.

IWC Water Leader Scholarships 2012-Australia.
Water Leader Scholarships 2012 will be open from 1 May - 1 August 2011.
Please note that applications will not be accepted before May 1, 2011.
Master of Integrated Water Management
The Integrated Water Management suite of programs is custom-designed by leading practitioners and academics from a range of disciplines from International Water Centre (IWC)member universities.
The programs equip students with the integration, leadership, managerial and technical skills to become part of an elite group of water leaders with sustainable and holistic solutions to global water and climate change challenges.
Scholarship WORTH:
-Full-tuition fees for full-time or part-time/distance** IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program.
-Partial-tuition fees for full-time or part-time/distance** IWC Master of Integrated Water Management program.
The selection committee will make a decision as to which recipients will receive a full or partial tuition scholarship.
** Part-time/distance study option in 2011 is available only to Australian/NZ \ citizens and permanent residents.
The scholarship does not include:
Travel, accommodation allowance, field work, living costs. These costs will be the responsibility of successful recipients.
Entry requirements
-A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution.
-Demonstrated English language proficiency
-Two years practical experience in a related field is preferred but not required.

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2010- University of York

Masters in Public Policy and Management
The University of York have been awarded 20 Commonwealth Scholarships by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSCUK) for students joining the online Masters programmes in Public Management, commencing their studies in September 2010.
The Commonwealth Scholarships are administered by CSCUK, working as the UK arm of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP). The awards are funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).
The CSFP are working towards partnerships between developed and developing countries aimed at combining academic excellence with the desire to make a real difference in some of the world's poorest countries.
ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships are available to applicants who:
have not previously had the opportunity to study at post-graduate level,
are living and working in developing countries of the Commonwealth,
are working in or with public organisations, including NGO's, aid agencies and local/national government departments, working towards the Millennium Development Goals-MDG.
The Online Masters programmes covered by these scholarships are flexible, highly interactive, well supported programmes that are directly relevant to the aims of the Millennium Development Goals. Students will find that they are part of a lively international learning community.

2011/2012 ICE WaRM Masters Scholarship in Water Resources Management for International Students
The ICE WaRM scholarship programme aims to:
- provide high calibre students with the opportunity to study with ICE WaRM partners to further their knowledge;
- provide students with the opportunity to participate in research and advance their scientific knowledge in water resources management;
- encourage the exchange of ideas on best practice within water-related fields;
- provide students with the opportunity to participate in presentations, conferences, seminars and forums on contemporary issues in water resources management;
- provide the opportunity for students from organisations and countries currently facing major water issues to participate in programmes which they may not be able to fund; and
- demonstrate a commitment to cultural change and diversity and the international sharing of knowledge and skills related to water resources management.
Which Institutions will HOST the scholarship?
ICE WaRM's five university partners are involved in the delivery of this programme, providing students with the opportunity to specialise in their area of interest in water resources management:
- University of Adelaide
- University of South Australia
- Flinders University
- Deakin University
- CQ University
What is the Scholarship WORTH?
ICE WaRM offers full and partial scholarships toward the cost of the programme (tuition fee). For international students, the fully funded scholarship is about AUD$30,000 and partially funded scholarship is about AUD$15,000. (Tuition fees are subject to change by the universities on an annual basis.)
Candidates are responsible for all other costs, such as fees for University applications, visa applications, fees, living costs during the course of study, health insurance etc. Candidates are permitted to apply for other scholarships to cover "other costs" as listed.
Who is ELIGIBLE?
All persons with a water related background and/or an interest in further study in water resources management are encouraged to apply. Based on the scholarship guidelines (as of 2010), to be eligible scholarship candidates must:
- satisfy Australian Government Visa requirements for international student entry to Australia;
- not hold a current Australian Government scholarship;
- meet or exceed the university's academic requirements (qualify for the programme to which you wish to apply) for the programme which is to be considered for a scholarship;
- be applying to commence a new programme of study and not be seeking support for a programme already commenced in Australia; and
- be able to commence study in the semester and year for which the scholarship is offered.

Steve Huckvale Scholarships African Students
The purpose of this prestigious award is to assist international candidates with academic merit and leadership potential to study at the University.
There are two Steve Huckvale scholarships available for applicants to a taught master's degree. One scholarship is for courses within the School of Management, and one is for the School of Engineering and Design.

Scholarship WORTH:
Each scholarship is worth £5000 and is open to international applicants born in an African country.
In addition, international fee paying candidates who are awarded a Steve Huckvale Scholarship will receive priority consideration if they also apply for the University of Bath Scholarships Scheme. This could result in a further £3000 scholarship, summing to £8000.

Number of Scholarships
There are two scholarships for taught postgraduate students. One is for a course in the School of Engineering and Design and the other is for a course in the School of Management.
Candidates must:
* Be nationals of an African country
What is the Scholarship WORTH?
Each scholarship is worth £5000 and will be paid in two instalments of £2500 each. The taught postgraduate scholarship is for one year only and cannot be deferred to a later year. The Steve Huckvale Scholarship can be held with other awards from the University of Bath (such as the University of Bath scholarships). It will be paid in two instalments at the beginning of each semester (October and January) and the second payment will be subject to satisfactory academic performance. Candidates will receive priority consideration if they also apply for a University of Bath scholarship, which could result in a further £3000 scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY
First of all you need to have formally accepted an offer from the University of Bath. The offer can be unconditional or conditional. Then, you need to complete the application form and send it to the institution before 30 JUNE 2010.
All scholarship holders are chosen for their academic excellence, and in this case, leadership potential will be considered as part of the selection criteria. The Judges will use the information you provide in the separate scholarship application form to judge your application together with your original course application. Financial circumstances are not taken into account for these awards.
If you have a conditional offer, then of course any scholarship offer will also be conditional until you have achieved the grades that you need for entry to Bath.
If you already have a partial scholarship from another organisation, you can combine this scholarship with a Steve Huckvale scholarship.
Successful Candidates will be notified by 2 August 2010 at the latest.
