The reality of Free Tuition, Scholarship and Study in Norway

Norwegian universities and state university colleges as a rule do not charge tuition fees for international students. The Norwegian government considers access to higher education for all to be an important part of the Norwegian society. This applies to foreign students, no matter which country you come from. The truth remains that living expenses in Norway are higher than in many other countries, but it is possible to get quality education without having to pay tuition fees. Even more encouraging is that if certain prerequisites are met you could also be eligible for financial support/scholarships that can pay for your living expenses, so you get almost everything for free.
